Scheduler – Palmer, Alaska

The Scheduler will work on schedules of great significance to the organization, which will
require advanced knowledge of scheduling practices. The Scheduler will build and maintain
schedules for all projects in Alaska. Monitor and report status, analyzing schedule and associated
changes for key risk areas and milestones impact.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
 Manage all activities associated with project planning, scheduling, forecasting,
monitoring and critical path analysis.
 Review, analyze, and monitor Contractor and Vendor schedules. Report any schedule
deviations to the Project Managers.
 Provide input to weekly and monthly reports including narratives, schedule updates, and
forecasting.
 Incorporate Client milestones and schedules into the project schedules.
 Work with Project Managers and General Manager to develop and monitor project
schedule.
 Conduct weekly progressing meetings with Project Manager to ensure all project
activities are up to date.
Education/Experience:
 Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, and Project Management, is
preferred.
 3+ years scheduling or project management experience.
Skills and Special Requirements/Licensing:
 Proficiency in MS Excel, Project, Word, and Outlook.
 Excellent oral and written communication skills
 Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
 Maintain flexibility to handle multiple interruptions and adjustment to priorities
throughout the day.
 Ability to solve complex problems.
 Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed
under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an indoor office environment and requires sitting and working with
computers for long periods of time. Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, long
days and evening/weekend hours to meet deadlines.
